What is a Wellhead?

Maintaining the Wellhead

As the “front line” of your entire well system, the wellhead should be routinely inspected by well owners as a crucial and important practice. Feel free to modify or repair it, as you feel comfortable/skillful to do, and do not hesitate to call on your local water well experts to undertake larger construction projects or to properly seal an abandoned well.
